being Mei

Take a moment to see the world through the Asian-peepers of Mei. It's just Mei being Mei no matter what. Rain or shine, this girl ain't giving herself up for anything.

Step by Step . . .

I've been lazing around these past few days since my classes are only on Fridays and Saturdays (I see Bernard's eyes filled with envy. Freakyy!). So I figured I might as well use the time to get fit again. I miss the fact that I could run endlessly for hours unlike now, whereby I feel like I'm going to pass out in the first 5 minutes.

So, I started jogging last night for 15 minutes. During the jog, I realised I managed to relax and just focus on jogging. All my worries and frustrations were put aside for that 15 minutes. It felt as if it's just me, myself and I. The fact that I didn't bring my cellphone was even better! No disturbance what-so-ever!

This might be the answer I've been looking for the last couple of weeks where I was feeling down sometimes. A frustrating and lingering problem that have been popping in my head non-stop. But the jog, just 15 minutes, cleared my mind. After the jog, I didn't even worry about it so much as the last couple of weeks. It's like it miriculously disappeared with the all the sweat poured out that night.

Oh the best bit? I felt like I was not a lazy bum for once! Haha...

She's The MAN!!

Went for my usual futsal session yesterday and had a blast! We spent the last hour playing on the newly-done Edelweiss grass field! It's a bit of a change from our usual non-friction ground but it's still cool! Haha... The ball moves slower of course, which could only mean one thing: using more strength to kick the ball around.

I was a bit stiff in the beginning, probably because there was one bunch of guys looking at us play and wanted to see whether chicks can play. Pffftt! Anyway, I scored two superb goals yesterday!! Awesome Awesome!! Girls can definitely kick a ball, dude! Don't play play!!

Miami Vice Is a BIG No-No!

I beg... yes, BEG, those who are reading this entry right now to PLEASE don't waste your hard-earned money on movies like Miami Vice! It actually brings a bad name to the series itself which I so love!

One would expect that if the plot of the movie to be rather dry, the action would make up for the loose ends. In this case, even the action was appaling, not to mention FAKE! You would expect a movie that takes after its infamous series, to be well, better!

Anyway, I was half asleep even before the movie was halfway through. I was squirming in my seat towards the end of the movie and just seriously wanted to get out. I even caught sight of a couple leaving the theatre in the middle of the movie.

So, this is a warning to those who are keen to go but are in doubt on whether to go. This entry is the answer to that burning question of yours! Instead, save your money and buy a nice lunch at Mahattan Fish Market.Oh, the lunch sets are very affordable and worth every cent! Plus, yummy to the last bite! Treat yourself, don't kill yourself with a horrible movie okay, people? :) Take my advice on this one. You won't miss out anything if you don't catch this movie (Bernard, please take note!).

PS: Colin Farrell was the only thing worth watching.Haha...!!

Haze Daze

Man, I wish the haze would just disappear! Went for futsal last sunday with church friends and their friends and found that the ground there was not built for hazy days, my friends.

As soon as we started running around the "field", I realised we were gliding rather than running. Definitely not the ideal "field" for a person with a busted ankle to play on. Anyway, there I was... running *ahem* sorry, I meant gliding and chasing for the ball. Unfortunately, it proved challenging and I didn't managed to score a goal this time! Oh FYI, I scored my second( and the best so far) goal two Sundays ago! Woo hoo! Eat your hearts out, Kelvin & Abbas Wan Hasni! ( Note: They think girls can't kick even if their lives depended on it *rolls eyes*)

Anyway, I've learnt a lesson and no it's not not play futsal on hazy days. Rather, get a better pair of sport shoes! Bwahahaha....!

(Yes, I know... that was rather lame but oh well...!) :p

Oh and inconjunction with the haze, I'm actually "touching" my blog again, because SOME people *COUGH* COUGH* BERNARD (whoops) commented that my blog was collecting dust. So, I'm here to CLEAN it up! BLEKS! LOL
